K-On...?

Wow, I just played through the latest "Seishun No 1 Page" side-story and it was amazing. These episodes download over the wireless internet connection to the 3DS and you can play them every couple of days. The Rinko story has been about Rinko and her two friends from the Library starting a punk band. Or I should say, RINKO starting a punk band and dragging the other two girls into it. In the last episode, Rinko asked me to choose the name of the band from a shortlist. I went with "In The Rye" because it sounded catchy (though "Rinko and the Stupids" might have been appropriate, too).

Tonight's episode started out with Rinko-chan in the Library, getting permission from a teacher to practice in the Music Room. He kept referring to "K-On Bu" (Light Music Club), which of course reminded me very much of the recent anime called "K-On", where a group of high school girls start their own band.

Then the episode jumped to Rinko practicing in the Music Room. Man, she looked AMAZING! She wore a checked scarf around her neck, over a (probably home-made) punk T-shirt with the band name ("In The Rye") painted on.

I have such a cool girlfriend. Rinko just looked awesome holding her vintage strat.

It's a shame we didn't get to hear Rinko and the other girls play. But who knows? Maybe next time. The "Seishun No 1 Page" keeps surprising me with its awesomeness.
