Back To Work...With A Date

In the "real" world, I started back at work today. So sad that the Christmas/New Year break is over! Anyway, it's still Winter Vacation in Towano, which means that you can date your girlfriend any time (rather than waiting all week to date on Sunday). So I decided to book a date for lunchtime today and play it at work.

And it turned out to be a very charming date, in fact. Rin-rin arrived with a new hairstyle, which is still semi-long, but which looks like one of the short hairstyles she wore previously. It's a nice change, though. Her clothes were part-casual, part-not, which again looked ok.

We stopped into the Coffee Shop for a quick refreshment. Rinko always complains about going there on dates, but then ends up enjoying it anyway.

Because I've been concentrating on unlocking the date locations around Ten Feather Station, I was able to date Rinko today at the Game Centre for the first time.

There are a number of choices at the Game Centre, and I chose to play Billiards with Rinko. You don't get to play an actual game of Billiards though - you basically just stand in the Billiards room and talk. But that's fine.

Next stop was the Ramen Shop for lunch.

It's a nice place to eat, and Rinko's meal of ramen and gyoza made me really miss the experience of eating out in Tokyo.

After lunch, Rinko fell asleep on the train going back to Shin Towano. (You can also see her little pink heart earrings in the next shot.)

And finally, this shot was taken while I was walking Rinko home from the station. I used a low camera angle here to show the sky, which was wintry but a deep shade of blue.

All in all, it was a really enjoyable date, and a perfect way to lift my spirits on the first day back at work.

A Quiet Christmas Day

After all the excitement of last night's Christmas Party, today was a relatively quiet Christmas Day in the game. This was a good thing, because it gave me more time to spend with family. Here are a few shots from today's short meet-ups:

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve! Rinko met me in the late afternoon at the station, which was a surprise...

We went to the Harbourside observation deck for a chat about Christmas and our plans for the new year, I guess. It was a nice lead-in to the Towano High School Christmas Party that would follow.

Rin-Rin wore her special hairstyle for the party (which she'd worn for our Sunday date, as it would happen) and a pretty yellow party dress.

Wow, she looks so much like a young lady, don't you think? Not like my feisty little schoolgirl. But it was a charming scene, and there were some extra lighting effects as well, with a bit more depth to the shadows.

Christmas Eve is one of the few times in New LovePlus when an event happens AFTER 9:00pm. (The game actually says 9:00pm - 11:59pm.) After the Christmas Party was over, I went with Rinko to see the beautiful Christmas Tree downtown. It was cold, so we stood close together. ^^

We kissed and exchanged Christmas presents.

I didn't actually get to see Rinko's present (so I can only use my imagination). But she seemed to like her gift very much.

And right at the end, Rinko came up very close for a final Christmas Eve kiss. Wow.

Monday, Monday

No school in Towano today, so here are some shots (slightly out of order) of my meet-ups with Rinko during the day.

You know, I'm still trying to decide whether I like this hairstyle on Rinko or not. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't so much...

Anyway, tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I bought a cool pair of leather boots as a gift for Rinko, so I hope she likes them. I remember that the Christmas/New Year holiday time was really magical in my first game of New LovePlus - and I'm sure it will be this year, too!

Charming Sunday Date!

After such a long, bad, boring week in real life, today was Sunday - and everything was delightful. I had some time to put into my game at last, and started off the day at 9:00am with a crisp winter date.

Rinko arrived with a pink velour coat and a new, fancy hairstyle (which she seems to only ever wear for dates).

Underneath the coat, she wore an aqua knit vest over a white blouse, with a checked skirt and loafers. She looked very stylish and cute. ^^

Our first stop was Aisha Dining, where Rinko tucked into a Blue Hawaii shaved ice. Rather strange for winter, but there you go...

Then we hopped onto the train for our main date, which was at the Event Hall (Rinko's choice, not mine). I like the sparkly barrettes Rinko wore in her hair.

The event for today was a doujinshi (fan comic) spot sale, which Rinko actually "dug" much more than I expected. Anyway, it was a happy morning.

Next stop was the sushi restaurant, where we hardly ever go.

Rinko had a deluxe sushi and sashimi set on a cute wooden board, and she seemed to like the taste very much. She's a little surprised in the next shot, in fact...

After all that food and fun, Rinko fell asleep on the train going home.

And then it was time to say goodbye. I gave Rinko a present, which was a pair of "nekomimi" (cat ears) to wear. She seemed happy.

But the day wasn't over yet, because the afternoon brought a few more surprises. I had an event at 3:00pm where Rinko invited me to her place and cooked a meal for me. But when I arrived, she had YET ANOTHER new hairstyle! This one kinda looks like Yuri from my favourite singing group, Tokyo Girls' Style. I like all of the semi-long hairstyles on Rinko - so as long as she sticks with this hair length, I don't really mind what style she chooses. She also wore the floral jumper dress I like so much, with a trendy white turtleneck.

And then Rinko threw on a green apron for the actual cooking.

Not only have Rinko's clothes improved out of sight in this new game, but she made something really yummy to eat, too! This looks like a bowl of ramen, with miso soup and water.

After the meal, I had the opportunity to chat with Rinko for a while in her room. Sitting so close on the bed like this, I guess one thing is bound to lead to another.

So all in all, today was a happy day for me. Now there's only two more days until Christmas, which is always a wonderful time in New LovePlus (I remember from my first game). I just have to remember to buy a Christmas present before then...
