Mountain Date

Well, this week marks my six month anniversary in the current game with Rinko. With the released of  New LovePlus+ imminent (less than 2 weeks away), my time with Rinko in the 3DS game is probably drawing to a close...so I plan to enjoy the remaining days as much as possible.

And today's date was very pleasant indeed. I decided to take Rinko to the Mountain area, because she always loves it there. And when I met her this morning at the station, she looked just absolutely perfect. It's taken this long, but my plan for making Rinko-chan dress smartly for our dates has certainly paid off. I loved her pale blue jacket, black scarf and white hat:

But even more, I adored the classic, navy blue dress with white Peter Pan collar that she wore underneath! Now this is my kind of girl...

Yep, Rinko looked sweet and old-fashioned. I love it. Combine this outfit with the twin-tails hairdo, and...well, it's going to be very hard to say goodbye in a few weeks. Maybe Rinko knows, too, and she's doing everything she can to make me transfer my data from the current game rather than starting over.

The main part of our date was at Towano Hot Springs. I grabbed this nice sepia-coloured shot of Rinko in the outer section of the Hot Springs area:

And this is the inside section, which looks very different now that it's Spring.

With the option of a second date location, I chose to stay in our beloved Mountain Area and take a hike on the Amou Mountain trail. And Rinko looked gorgeous in the dappled sunlight.

Then, sadly, it was time to take her home. The date didn't extend, because I'd already burned up most of my hearts on that Premium Date mid-week. But no matter. It was a most enjoyable day.

Super Busy Sunday!

After a fairly ordinary week in Towano, I was hoping today's date might be something really special...and it was. Rinko met me at the station wearing a crisp white coat and a new twin-tails hairstyle. It was snowing a little bit, so she carried her polka-dot umbrella, and the overall look was charming.

I found out later that today (02.02) is officially "Twin-Tails" day in Japan (to commemorate fans' obsession with this hairstyle). Maybe that's why Rinko changed to twin tails today??? Anyway, I'm a twin-tails fan too, so I'm certainly not complaining. We went to the Japanese Sweet Shop for a snack, and Rinko ordered a yummy ice cream sundae.

Then it was time to take the train to our much-loved Mountain Area.

When we arrived at the Hot Springs, we were able to go in to the Onsen area for the first time. Nothing happened apart from this shot, but it was still nice to be there with Rinko.

Then we swung back to the Lakeside Restaurant for a cup of tea and some more respite from the cold.

The date was greatly extended today, first when Rinko came back to my place for some music and gaming (and kissing)...

...and then when I went back to her place for a snack and a study date. Sadly, I'd used up my photos by that stage - but, trust me, it was fun. Later in the day, Rinko met me during Library Committee duty. The twin-tails hairstyle looks cool with her school uniform.

I met her at the TV Studio late in the afternoon.

We rode our bikes back to Shin Towano.

And then we finished off what had been a SUPER busy day by meeting at the Coffee Shop.

Saturday

Most of today, I've been eagerly awaiting my third date at the Hot Springs tomorrow. But that doesn't mean there wasn't a lot to enjoy today! I met Rinko again at the Tennis Clubroom:

And one more time, at the school Courtyard:

And then we walked home together after school:

Oh yeah, and (being the first of February) the sign-in screen changed over to the one for Valentine's Day, which means...I need to think about buying a present soon. I hope this Valentine's Day doesn't turn out like last year, when Rinko saw Manaka giving me chocolate and then wouldn't speak to me for the whole day!

A Sweet, Sweet Date

After a very quiet (and ever-so-slightly dull) week in Towano, I had a very sweet date with my Rinko-chan this morning. I met her at the little park near her house, and although she hadn't changed her hairstyle, she work a pretty pale blue coat.

We went to Aisha Dining for a snack, and Rinko ordered shaved ice...which she seems to do almost every time we go there, no matter what I select.

Rinko had booked the date location, which turned out to be the Shrine. This is okay, because going to the Shrine reminds me of being in Tokyo and visiting the beautiful shrines there in real life.

After that, I had the option of a second location - so I chose to go back to the Hot Springs in the Mountain Area and check out another of the three options.

I chose the second option at the Hot Springs today, and this is what I got:

With a third date option for a meal, I chose to take Rinko back to the Viking Cake Buffet (also in the Mountain Area). We enjoyed it so much last time.

After that...we went back to my place, listened to a CD, and played a game of TwinBee (where Rinko and I achieved the third highest score).

At the end of the date, I gave Rinko a gift I'd bought last week of a cosmetic bag - which, to my surprise, she liked very much!

This afternoon, I had an Event with Rinko, which turned out to be another cooking event at her place.

Rinko put on her favourite green apron and got busy in the kitchen...

...and made a wonderful bowl of soba. I love the detail on the bowl in this shot.

We talked for a while and hung out in Rinko's room - which led to some kissing, of course. And then it was time to go home.

So, all in all, today was a happy and busy day. The icing on the cake, however, was finding out that after today's date I'd finally reached LEVEL 9 with  Rinko! All the time I've played New LovePlus (including my longest single game of almost 15 months), I've never made it past Level 8 before. So I guess I must be doing something right.
