Monday - Back To School

Back to school today for a new semester (and a new school year, in fact), complete with singing the Towano High school song and shots of the school backgrounds with falling sakura leaves. But even the school environment looks bigger and more colourful on the new 3DS LL console!

After the opening ceremony, Rinko was waiting for me. Even though it's spring, the girls are still wearing their winter uniforms.

I called Rinko out of class in the morning for a brief catch-up, and booked a date with her for Sunday morning at Karaoke (I tried to book the date at the Art Gallery, but she didn't like it).

And, just like the 3DS game, Rinko showed up at lunch-time in the hallway.

I thought she might have prepared a bento lunch for me, but from memory you need to level up your Lover Ranking quite a bit first. Instead, she sat next to me to eat lunch and mentioned something about sandwiches.

And, at the end of the day, Rinko-chan was waiting to walk home with me. What a faithful girlfriend.

I met her in the afternoon at Winning Burger (Fast Food) for a short date. I still only have the two date locations in Shin Towano unlocked - Fountain Park and Winning Burger - but at leas now they are both at Level 3. Hopefully this means I can check out the Flea Markets at Fountain Park this coming Sunday.

Finally, even though it started raining, we went back to good old Fountain Park at night.

I just realised something about the new game. As much as I love the fact that the designers have gone all-out retro and made the second sign-on screen (with your girlfriend's heart in a big circle) the same as the old DS game, the different seasonal backgrounds you used to get in the 3DS game are gone. I guess it would be impossible to have both.

Surprise Date

Rinko and I were supposed to have a date at Fountain Park today...but it was raining. Because the Park is an outdoor location, we weren't able to keep our date. Rinko looked disappointed...

But, thankfully, I was able to choose an alternate location. I chose the Art Gallery (in the Mountain Area), and we set off by train. Rinko arrived for today's date wearing casual clothes under her winter coat, so I said I didn't like her outfit. She also changed her hairstyle, which is quite nice - and she has been stuck in those (admittedly cute) twin-tails for a while now - so I let her change it.

We walked through the farm land in the rain, which was not a lot of fun.

But Rinko picked up a bit at the Art Gallery/Museum. She doesn't usually enjoy this date location much, but I guess today she was happy to go anywhere.

The best part, as always, was stopping into the beautiful Lakeside Restaurant for a cup of tea. I just wish Rinko had been wearing nicer clothes, though...

And then it was time to say goodbye.

Sunday Date

Well, Rinko seems to be continuing her well-dressed look lately (which of course makes me happy). She looked very cute wearing this bright pink woollen jacket when she met me at the station this morning. It was enough to make anyone feel warm on a cold late-winter day...though, wait - it's actually the start of Spring.

And underneath, Rinko wore this very sweet pale blue top, which you can see when we stopped into Winning Burger for a snack. That BLT looks pretty tasty, too...

Then it was off on the train to our date at the Art Gallery.

We walked along by the river bank holding hands.

And then we arrived at the Gallery. I've taken Rinko here a couple of times before, and she usually doesn't like it much. But today she seemed in an especially good mood.

Then we found a very interesting restaurant and stopped for lunch. We've never actually been there before, and Rinko was very curious.

But it has a great interior, and the food was wonderful! I must look it up on my map and find out what this place is called.

Even when it was time to say goodbye, Rin-chan was in a really good mood. It had been a successful date, to say the least...

And we rounded off the day by paying a visit to that old favourite date spot, Fountain Park

A Blue Tuesday

"Chinese Food" was my choice for today's bento lunch.

Rinko is always very proud of her lunchtime achievements.

At 6:00pm it was time for our Premium Date. I met Rin-Rin at the station, and she looked quite adorable, all in blue with white sandals. A bit more casual than usual, but still passable and neat. She also wore lots of things I'd given her - the gold cross earrings, the silver leaf necklace, as well as her bag and cap. And that hairstyle is impossible to beat.

So we started off at Aisha Dining, where Rinko had French Toast and salad.

"Oishii!"

Then we took the train to East Towano and walked along the riverbank to the Art Gallery.

Instead of paying attention to the paintings, Rinko spent most of her time checking out and gossiping about all the couples at the exhibition. Or did she not realise that WE were a couple, too???

All that spying must have worn Rinko out, because she fell asleep on my shoulder during the train ride back to Shin Towano. Cute.

After the main part of the date, Rinko "invited" herself back to my room. We listened to a CD (from my growing collection) and played a game of TwinBee. Then we kissed. Gosh, it's impossible not to kiss a girl when she's sitting this close to you on your bed. Nobody is that strong!

Next, Rinko set herself up in the kitchen and cooked a meal for me. Apparently the French Toast didn't fill her up.

The meal was some kind of nabe hot-pot. It looked delicious, as always...

One of the features of Premium Dates is this little scene in the park opposite Rinko's house. You sit there in the dark and talk very privately with her. Towards the end, Rinko blushed deeply and said that she really, really loves me. That's when I grabbed this shot...

Yeah, the feeling is definitely mutual, Rinko-chan. ^^ Last but not least, here's a full-length shot from the very end of our date showing the rest of Rinko's outfit. Nice, huh?

A Pink Monday

I met Rinko for a short date in the Tennis Clubroom at school today, and she seemed a bit spaced out at first...

But then she recovered and showed me her big happy smile. I'm still loving the twin tails semi-long hairstyle from yesterday's date, which looks even cuter when it's combined with her school uniform.

And yes, a bento was on the menu for lunch again.

I grabbed this nice close-up shot as Rin-Rin slid across to share her lunch with me...

Not sure how good the first bite tasted, though. ^^

This afternoon, I also visited Electric Town and bought a new "stealth" body for my camera, which is supposed to make it easier to take candid shots of your girlfriend - that is, she doesn't always turn around when you point the camera at her. I tried it out on our date at Fountain Park this afternoon, but honestly didn't notice a lot of difference.

Tomorrow is my third big Premium Date - a couple ticket to a special exhibition at the Gallery.
