In The Flower Gardens

At lunchtime today, Rinko met me with a "Chinese"-style bento, which we shared on the school rooftop...

And then, when six o'clock rolled around, it was time to hurry to the station and meet Rinko for our Premium Date. She looked very in her white jacket and hat, and I'm glad that she's decided to keep this cute twin-tails hairstyle for a while...

We went to the Japanese Sweet Shop and enjoyed this massive dessert:

And then we walked along the beach to our premium date location:

The Flower Gardens are a special location, which I don't think I've ever been to with Rinko before. The setting was so nice in the late afternoon sun.

Rinko was in a cheerful mood, and it was a really nice date.

Afterwards, Rin came back to my place and got busy in the kitchen. When she cooks, you get to enjoy a rare back view. I also noticed that she was wearing the new earrings I gave her a while back. It's always nice to see your girl wearing stuff you gave her in the game.

Then we sat down to enjoy Rinko's cooking. She wore this pretty, pale blue top under her jacket today. Again, in two years of playing New LovePlus, I don't think I've ever seen this outfit.

Then we chilled for a while, listened to a CD and played TwinBee. I don't know why, but every time I play TwinBee with Rinko, I really suck at it.

Then it was time to say goodnight. All in all, this was a splendid Premium Date, and it's one that I would recommend - but it's only available in Spring.

The release date of New LovePlus+ is just two weeks from today. I can't wait - though I guess it will take at least another week after that before my game is delivered (if all goes well with my Rakuten order). My 3DSLL case arrived from Japan yesterday, and it's really nice. I'm ready to go!

Sunday's Super Date!

Another very nice date with Rinko today. She was wearing very nice, smart clothes when I met her at the station:

And even had very sweet clothes underneath, with a kind of green theme today! We stopped for a snack at the Japanese Sweet Shop.

Then it was off to the Bay Area for the main part of our date. The ocean looks so beautiful in the background of these next few shots, as we were strolling along the beach, and the clouds remind me of the "Air" anime series...

We dated at the Observation Deck (no photos), then went back to the nearby Sushi Restaurant for lunch.

Rinko was very happy, because she loves the food there. We ordered these cute sushi rolls, which were served on a traditional wooden plate. Very sweet.

But this was a VERY extended date today. Rinko came back to my place first, where we listened to some music and enjoyed a game of TwinBee together. Then I went back to her place, where we sat on her bed and kissed.

And then I was able to grab an Intimate Photo session with Rin-chan, and actually managed to grab some nice photos for once with her bed in the background.

We finished off a very happy day with a short date at Winning Burger.

It's not long now until the released of "New LovePlus+", which is going to be very interesting after more than two years of playing this 3DS version. I've also ordered a couple of extra things from Japan - a nice blue case for my 3DSLL, plus the Official Guide Book for the new game. I really hope that I love this version as much as the current one (with all its bugs and faults), and that I'll still be writing this blog every day in two years' time!

The Big Day!

Today was the day of my big Premium Date with Rinko. The rest of the day was very quiet, as I couldn't call Rinko out on the same day as the date. It started off, though, with an exciting chapter of the "Seishun 1 Page", with Rinko carrying her guitar case in the street, then checking out guitars in the Music Shop.

It was a long wait through the rest of the day...but then, finally, six o'clock arrived and it was time to meet my girlfriend. When I saw her at Shin Towano station, she had a cute short hairdo and very casual clothes.

I had accumulated enough hearts to ask for the "Hair Length Change" option - except I wasn't quite sure what to do. So when Rinko asked me if I liked her hair, I said no - and nothing happened. But then, we went to Aisha Dining for a snack, and she asked me a complicated series of questions, which I think I answered right, to change the length and/or style of her hair. The only option was for medium-long hair. I'm hoping to eventually have Rinko with long hair...but it's nice that you can't jump straight from short hair to long, just like in real life. So medium-long hair will be fine for now. I actually can't wait until she changes (probably on our next date).

The menus are still messed up, because we ordered Pudding A La Mode and ended up with the lemon flavoured ice (kaki-gori).

After that, we headed off on the train for the Aquarium, which is in the Waterfront Area. The main part of our date started off with a romantic walk along the beach at sunset...

Then we arrived at the Aquarium, which was lit up in special display for night-time. ^^

Despite her expression in the next shot, Rinko was very happy there and didn't want to leave.

She was so sleepy afterwards that she fell asleep on the train on the way back to Shin Towano...

But this wonderful, busy and LONG date didn't end there. Rinko came back to my place afterwards. We listened to my one and only CD, played Puzzle Dama, and then Rinko offered to cook a meal for me!

Here is the "Junior Master Chef" at work...

I'm not sure what Rinko cooked, but it looked very tasty.

On the way back to her place, we stopped on a bench in the little park and talked for a while. It was a nice opportunity to kiss her goodnight.

Almost two hours later, the date was finished. Wow, I love Premium Dates in "New LovePlus". I hope I can play through all of them, but I don't want to do it too soon. Spreading them out and doing maybe one every month is a good way to go, I think. (And there are some dates that you can only do at specific times of the year.)

Now I just have to wait for my Rinko-chan to appear with medium-long hair...

Sweet Date

Well, today is the first time I've felt like posting on this blog since my beloved cat, Tootie, died last Thursday. It's been a tough week, with so much grief every day. I still miss her so much! I've kept playing "New LovePlus" on and off, but without much enthusiasm. T_T

Still, it's always been my aim to keep this game going for a year, so I thought I'd knuckle down and do a proper date with my neglected Rinko today. And it turned out to be quite a sweet date, at that.

It was raining when Rin-chan met me at the station:

And still raining while we walked to Dixies for a bite to eat.

Here's Rinko at Dixies, looking pretty thoughtful. I think she's missed me.

Lunch was a beef bowl and some miso soup. Itadakimasu!

But Rinko enjoyed the food, and even offered me a a bite...

Our main date was at Karaoke. This was fortunate - because, as I've mentioned before, you can't kiss your girlfriend much when it's raining. But Karaoke is always good, because I get to sit close to Rinko. And of course, I didn't waste the opportunity.

With an extra date location remaining, I took Rin down to the bridge, with a nice walk along the beach first. Not quite the same as summer, but still romantic.

And here we are, walking back from the station.

Finally, a couple of long shots of Rinko to show the cute check skirt she wore, with black Mary Jane shoes. If it wasn't for the cap, this would be pretty close to the perfect Rinko outfit.

So, nothing spectacular, but a nice date nevertheless. I'll try hard this week to get back into playing and writing up my play every day. If nothing else, it helps to remind me that life goes on. But for me, life will always go on missing my dear friend Tootie...
