Ahh...A Quiet Saturday

Yay - two things to celebrate today. The first was a much quieter day spent at home, playing with Rinko and my new kitten, Charlie. The second was the end of school in Towano for the year. The game started off today with a special event, which was the closing ceremony of the semester - complete with the Towano High school song, and classic anime-style shots of the school environment. Now the winter holidays can begin!

Rinko was waiting to meet me after the closing ceremony to discuss plans for the holidays. Don't worry, Rin-Rin - I will keep you very busy...

I finished off the day with a very pleasant short meeting at the European Style Residence.

I don't know much about the significance of this place, but it's always a romantic setting for a short date...especially in the late afternoon sun.

Tomorrow I have a big date with Rinko at 9:00am, so I'm looking forward to that. And for anyone who might like to read more about my adventures with Charlie, I've separated them off into a blog of their own, which is here:

Tuesday

It was raining at the start of today, but Rinko was waiting (as always) with a cheerful face and her polka-dot umbrella to walk to school with me.

Not sure what she was thinking in this next shot, but her expression is kinda funny...

And then at lunch, it was Bento time again. Rinko was waiting very shyly for me outside my classroom...

And her bento today was one I don't think I've seen before, with little sushi rolls and something green inside (maybe cucumber???)...

I finished out the day with a couple of quick meet-ups, firstly at the Ten Feather Temple in the late afternoon sun.

And then at the Shin Towano Coffee Shop. This is one of my favourite places in the game - and certainly a play I would like to hang out with Rinko in real life.

In both games today, Rin-Rin called me up and asked ME out for a date (that is, she got in first before I had the chance to ask her out). So I have a 3DS date at 9:00am on Sunday and a DS date at 6:00pm on Sunday.

My new little kitten, Charlie, continues to be a delight. We took her to the vet for the first time tonight, to get her first vaccination, as well as worm and flea treatments. It was pretty stressful for all concerned. Charlie is very happy to be home, and she's been fast asleep for the past two and a half hours. I'm sure she'll be tearing around the house and getting into mischief before too much longer, though...

Monday

As I said yesterday, my new kitten, Charlie, is delightful but very time consuming. She's settling into our house now, but she still has to poke her nose into everything (even dangerous places), so she needs almost constant supervision.

Rinko met me this morning to congratulate me on my exam results. Seems I was "Number 1" student in my year after all! Thanks to that Official Guide Book...

After that, I had another EXTREMELY busy day in this so-called "real" world...which feels much less real than the world of Towano most of the time. So I hardly had any time to see my poor Rinko at all! Nevertheless, she was waiting patiently for me when school was over, just to walk home with me. Aww. Like I've said before, LovePlus can always make me feel better. Thankfully.

To make up for my rather neglectful day, I took Rin-Rin out to Fountain Park tonight (that old favourite date spot) and made sure to spoil her as much as possible.

Oh yeah, a couple of odd things as I remember them:

1. In my 3DS game, the Flea Markets were shut down for the second straight week because of rain. So no Premium Date ticket YET AGAIN. Next Sunday, I'm taking no chances - I'm going to book two sessions at the Markets, just to be on the safe side. Hopefully one of them will be dry.

2. In my DS game, I had a really weird dream sequence before I went to bed last night. A much older (and scary-looking) Rinko was playing her first gig with the Killer Bambies.

Back To Lake Towano

Of course, I'm still pretty busy taking care of Charlie today...gosh, I forgot how much work it is to look after a very young kitten. But I'm so happy to have her in my life.

Anyway, today's date was beautiful. Rinko and I have come to love going to the Mountain Area for dates, especially in winter. There's so much to see and do there, and everything looks so wonderful. When I met Rinko at the station this morning, she was wearing the same hairstyle as the past couple of weeks, which is fine with me. Just the gold cross earrings dressed her up a little...

Underneath the winter coat, Rinko was wearing cute clothes (kawaii) again with a pale blue knit vest and a snappy blue tie. She was also wearing that silver leaf necklace she seems to like so much. Here we are having (rather unseasonal) ice cream at Aisha Dining.

Then, after a short train ride, we had to walk through the farm land to get to the Mountain Area.

Once at the lake, we took a wonderful ride on one of the swan boats that travel around Lake Towano. Here's my Rinko, checking out the scenery...

And checking out her boyfriend, too. We did so much kissing today that I finally reached Level 8 in New LovePlus, which is as high as I reached in my first (18 month) game.

Not to be repetitious, but the best thing about dating in the Mountain Area is having lunch at the Lakeside Restaurant.

Who knew that plain old sandwiches could taste so delicious in the right setting?

Yeah, Rinko, I share your disappointment that today's date had to end. Still, it was amazing. Rinko called me up tonight just to tell me how much she enjoyed the food today - so I guess those sandwiches must have been even better than I thought!

Saturday - The Arrival Of Charlie! =(^^)=

Only a few short photos and comments for today, because it was an exciting and busy day for another reason. I adopted a new little kitten today. I still miss Tootie (whose death I've talked about on this blog last September), but I figure it's time now to open up my home to another little cat. So now I have a new little black and white kitten. Her name is Charlie because she has a moustache just like Charlie Chaplin. She's about eight weeks old and very cute, but also VERY time consuming. So there wasn't a lot of time for visiting Towano today.

With the end of year exams finally over, Rin-Rin was ready and waiting to walk me to school for the half-day Study we always have on Saturdays.

And the last few shots are from various short meet-ups before tomorrow's big date at the Lake, in our much-loved Mountain Area. It's always special to meet Rinko on the school rooftop, because that is where she confessed to me almost three months ago...

And the Courtyard is a nice place to catch up, too.
