Our First Winter Date

Today was the 1st of December, which is the start of Summer in Australia but the start of Winter (according to the calendar, anyway) in Japan. Rinko arrived for our date this morning wearing all her Winter clothes - hat, scarf, gloves, and a beautiful suede jacket. Is it just me, or is Winter a very romantic time? Maybe it's the thought of keeping warm together with your girlfriend... ^^

Underneath her jacket, Rinko gave me a peek at the rest of her outfit, which has changed (for some unexplainable reason) to the "cute" style. I don't mind Rinko wearing "cute" or "smart" clothes for dates, as long as she stays away from casual clothes. Anyway, this look was nice.

We went off to Dixies for a quick snack. Rinko wasn't overly impressed about eating there - she far prefers Aisha Dining - but she seemed to enjoy herself in the end.

Then we had to walk through the farm land to get to the Mountain Area. I don't know why, but the backgrounds in the farm land are the poorest in LovePlus - they look like really cheap 3D, with really cheap textures, where all the street scenes and interiors look really good.

I really like the Mountain Area of Towano now, maybe even more than the city. We visited the Lake today, and it looks beautiful behind Rin-Rin in the next shot. You can see the head of one of the swan boats, too.

And these next few shots are taken on board the swan boat. You can see Amou Mountain in the background. The whole scene looked wintery but very very sweet.

Next we made a return visit to the beautiful Lakeside Restaurant - definitely one of the best places to eat in the whole Towano area. Rinko was very cute the way she looked left and right checking it out...

And the food is definitely yummy, too. Itadakimasu!

And here's a full-length shot of Rinko waving goodbye. No continuation today, but it was still a very nice date, and it's so cool to watch all the seasonal changes in the LovePlus world.

Last but not least, I took Rinko for a short date at Fountain Park tonight.

It made me realise that (apart from Premium Dates) I haven't booked a lot of dates with Rinko at night. Some date spots are not open after 6:00pm, but it might be another different way to experience the game. I must try to do another After School Date this week, too, if I have time...
