Saturday, Blehh

Even though it's the weekend at last, today was kind of a "blehh" day. I can't say it any better than that. I found that I didn't take a lot of photos in the game today - so I hope I can do a little better at our next big date tomorrow.

Rin-Rin seems to have the "blehh" feeling in the next shot too. Maybe she was picking up my mood.

Sorry but there's not much more to say about today. We all have days like this.

Friday

It appears that quite a few online stores are offering pre-orders for New LovePlus+, but they close out on 8 December 2013. Konami and Nintendo are manufacturing the special limited edition 3DSLL consoles to order - which means rather than a lottery (like last time), they will only make as many units as people order. Personally, I think Konami must have taken a bit of a loss on New LovePlus, with the product recall and everything, so they're being more cautious this time. But it makes me really glad that I've already placed a pre-order.

Here's a graphic showing the designs of the three NLP+ limited edition consoles - and I have to say, they look stunning. With unlimited finances (which I SO don't have), I'd gladly buy all of them! But there's no news, screenshots or promos of the new game yet. I guess the folks at Konami are still beavering away at it.

A more difficult decision is going to be whether I transfer my existing Rinko data from my 3DS game or start a brand new game from the beginning.  There's something to be said for both. Having a brand new version of the game plus a shiny new - bigger - console will make it really tempting to make a new start and see all the gameplay from the beginning. I've started and stopped with Rinko so many times now.

Then again, on the other hand, by the time the game comes out I will have been playing very faithfully with Rinko for five or six months, which is a significant amount of time and love invested in the relationship. I've finally got her hair the way I want it, and her clothes, and so on. What to do???  Oh well, I have the next few months to decide.

Today was another manic, crazy, horrible day in the real world, so just a few quick Towano updates for now. I love Rinko's current hairstyle when she wears it with her school uniform. It's just so darned cuuuute.

The bento lunch is supposed to be Japanese food again, but to be honest it doesn't look a whole lot different from the Chinese food ones I've been having for the past week. But Rinko always displays it very proudly for me - and I love the way it sparkles (which you can't really see in the screen shots).

I'm not sure why, but the scrunchies from yesterday came back on for the PE session this afternoon.

Now I'm looking forward to a restful weekend and a date at the Lake in the beautiful Amou Mountain area on Sunday.

Thursday: My Order, Scrunchies And More!

I placed an order this morning through Rakuten (an online shopping service in Japan) for the new Limited Edition set of New LovePlus+ (Rinko version, of course). Now I guess it's going to be a heck of a long wait, because the game won't be launched until spring, which is around the end of March in Japan. In the meantime, life in Towano continues.

When Rinko met me this morning to walk to school, she was wearing bright blue scrunchies in her hair. Remember those? I haven't seen kids wearing them since the 80s, but I guess they're making a comeback...

Unexpectedly, Rinko cornered me in the Library this morning and actually initiated a kissing session. What a sweet surprise!

And at lunchtime, she switched back to Japanese food in the bento box (at my request).

And finally, very late today, we met at the Coffee Shop for a chat. Rinko wanted to change the nickname she calls me, but "honey" sounds so nice every time she says it that I had to refuse.

Stop Press: THE BIG ANNOUNCMENT

Finally, Konami has opened pre-orders for the New LovePlus+ limited editions! These sets come with the extra-large 3DS console (known as 3DSii in Japan), plus the new game, an art book, and lots of extras. I definitely have to get the Rinko set.

I just don't know how to get it! Pre-orders close on 8 December 2013, so there's not very much time, and most of the shops and dealers won't ship outside of Japan. I just found the items listed on Amazon Japan - but they also don't ship to Australia, so I guess I'll have to do it through some kind of commission service. But this is really exciting news!!!

Wednesday

Just a few quick snaps from today, because my day has been rather rushed. Walking to school this morning...

Today's bento lunch continued the "Chinese Food" theme...

Rinko is thinking hard about what she'll prepare for tomorrow...

And these last shots are from my late afternoon meet-up at Winning Burger.

Oh, and I've booked a date for this coming Sunday at the River, because I'm enjoying the experience of the whole Mountain Area so much. But I'm also working on unlocking stuff around Electric Town (just for fun).

A Blue Tuesday

"Chinese Food" was my choice for today's bento lunch.

Rinko is always very proud of her lunchtime achievements.

At 6:00pm it was time for our Premium Date. I met Rin-Rin at the station, and she looked quite adorable, all in blue with white sandals. A bit more casual than usual, but still passable and neat. She also wore lots of things I'd given her - the gold cross earrings, the silver leaf necklace, as well as her bag and cap. And that hairstyle is impossible to beat.

So we started off at Aisha Dining, where Rinko had French Toast and salad.

"Oishii!"

Then we took the train to East Towano and walked along the riverbank to the Art Gallery.

Instead of paying attention to the paintings, Rinko spent most of her time checking out and gossiping about all the couples at the exhibition. Or did she not realise that WE were a couple, too???

All that spying must have worn Rinko out, because she fell asleep on my shoulder during the train ride back to Shin Towano. Cute.

After the main part of the date, Rinko "invited" herself back to my room. We listened to a CD (from my growing collection) and played a game of TwinBee. Then we kissed. Gosh, it's impossible not to kiss a girl when she's sitting this close to you on your bed. Nobody is that strong!

Next, Rinko set herself up in the kitchen and cooked a meal for me. Apparently the French Toast didn't fill her up.

The meal was some kind of nabe hot-pot. It looked delicious, as always...

One of the features of Premium Dates is this little scene in the park opposite Rinko's house. You sit there in the dark and talk very privately with her. Towards the end, Rinko blushed deeply and said that she really, really loves me. That's when I grabbed this shot...

Yeah, the feeling is definitely mutual, Rinko-chan. ^^ Last but not least, here's a full-length shot from the very end of our date showing the rest of Rinko's outfit. Nice, huh?

A Pink Monday

I met Rinko for a short date in the Tennis Clubroom at school today, and she seemed a bit spaced out at first...

But then she recovered and showed me her big happy smile. I'm still loving the twin tails semi-long hairstyle from yesterday's date, which looks even cuter when it's combined with her school uniform.

And yes, a bento was on the menu for lunch again.

I grabbed this nice close-up shot as Rin-Rin slid across to share her lunch with me...

Not sure how good the first bite tasted, though. ^^

This afternoon, I also visited Electric Town and bought a new "stealth" body for my camera, which is supposed to make it easier to take candid shots of your girlfriend - that is, she doesn't always turn around when you point the camera at her. I tried it out on our date at Fountain Park this afternoon, but honestly didn't notice a lot of difference.

Tomorrow is my third big Premium Date - a couple ticket to a special exhibition at the Gallery.
