Six Month Anniversary!!!

Well, today was the big day of my six month anniversary with Rinko! Six months ago, we dated (in Lover Mode) for the very first time! So I really wanted to spend a very special day with my virtual girlfriend today.

First up, I made sure I was on time and met her to walk to school together. 

Then, I called Rinko to meet me on the school roof. I always do this for our anniversary (if I can), because it's the spot where she confessed her love to me six months ago.

Just before the end of our meet-up, in the school corridor (NOT so romantic), I gave her the purple jacket I'd bought yesterday, and she seemed to like it.

Then it was Rinko's turn. She came up very close to me...

...and then gave me her anniverary gift. For some reason, it was the same matching sweatbands she gave me last time. Maybe the game only includes a certain number of gifts??? Anyway, I'm not disappointed. It's always the thought that counts!

And I have to say that the v1.2 update for "New LovePlus" is awesome. There are a number of noticeable improvements - but the best one by far is the improvement to skinship/kissing. It now takes A LOT less time that it did in v1.1. This is great news, because it means I'll be able to kiss Rinko a few more times on our next date. I've been stuck in Level 8 of the game for quite a while now, and I suspect it's because I haven't been kissing her as much as I should.

A Gift, A Box Lunch, and v1.2

Today was a fun day, starting with some usual Library work with Rinko...

Which took a surprising turn when she pulled out a gift for me. This usually happens at Dixies, and has only happened once before in the Library.

At lunch, she met me on the roof of the school and we shared a very pleasant box lunch.

In the afternoon, we stopped by the European-Style Residence again, but once more we couldn't go inside.

Later today, I went shopping and bought a present for Rinko for our six-month anniversary tomorrow. That's quite an important milestone. Actually, it's hard to believe that I'm still playing this game after six months. I bought a purple jacket for Rinko from the Shopping Mall, and it was quite expensive - so I hope she likes it!!

And finally, I downloaded and installed v1.2 of "New LovePlus" from the Konami site just a few moments ago. Looking forward to testing it out tomorrow.

The "European-style Residence" is unlocked now, so I was able to take Rinko there for a short date today...but only to the outside. I wonder if you get to see the inside on a proper date? Have to remember to try it out sometime. It looks romantic.^^

Night Dating

Mixed-up Date

Well, today's date with Rin was pleasant but slightly mixed-up. Let me say, however, that I really love the subtle way the change of season from summer to autumn has been depicted in the game. The falling leaves you can see in the first shot below are obvious, but all the background colours have been changed too, giving the world of Towano a golden autumn glow.

Anyway, Rin looked sweet with her long hair and glasses - and, like I've said before, her new clothes for autumn are great! We started off at the Japanese Sweet Shop.

I'm not sure what food we ordered, but it sure looked interesting:

Our date was SUPPOSED to be for bowling.......but somehow, we ended up at Fountain Park. Not bad, but just not what I expected.

So, with the option of selecting a second date location, I chose bowling once again.......and ended up at the Temple.

I mean, it's okay. But I really hope that Konami fixes this bug with the date locations soon, because it's kinda frustrating. Here's a final shot of Rin saying goodbye. Now that I have 12 shots on my in-game camera, I usually try to grab these full-length shots at the end of each date to show Rin's outfits in a bit more detail.

Coming up this Thursday is my six month anniversary of dating Rinko. Wow, it's hard to believe that this game has been part of my life for half a year now. Even though I'm dating Manaka now in the DS version of "LovePlus", I have to say that my heart still belongs to Rinko. So I'll be planning something really special for the anniversary. Not just a gift in the game for her, but some kind of real-world celebration too. I think I'll make a Facebook album and put my favourite memories from the past six months. Sounds like fun!

Tuesday Date!

It seems that I can date Rinko mid-week now, even during school days. I booked a movie date for 6pm today, and she accepted. I'm sure I couldn't do this earlier in the game, unless it was during vacation. Anyway. First, Rinko met to walk me home from school. The late afternoon light in Autumn is especially pretty.

And then, the date. Rinko didn't wear her glasses this time, but she was still nicely dressed and looked sweet and mature.

We went to the Japanese Sweet Shop for a snack first, and this is the odd-looking thing we ordered...

Rinko loved it anyway!
