Happy White Day...?

Life with Rinko is usually cool - but sometimes, special event days like Valentine's Day and White Day seem to be fraught with danger. Something unintended will happen, and Rinko misunderstands, and we don't speak for the whole day. And this is supposed to be romantic???

I'm not really sure what happened today. My schedule had three sessions set aside as "EVENT" for White Day, so I was hoping for a really great day. I met Rinko in the hallway at school, and things seemed to be going well...

But then something happened and she walked away in a huff.

And, when I caught up with her at lunchtime, the same thing happened. I don't know why, because I went to the trouble of getting a present for her (a nice, expensive watch).

But, same as with the Valentine's Day misunderstanding, everything was resolved by the end of the day. Rinko met me in the Library, I gave her my gift, and it all worked out fine. I think.

Saturday

After another BIG Valentine's Day (complete with Jealousy Event), it was nice to kick back today and have a normal day with Rinko. We started off with breakfast, of course...

And then walked together for our half-day of school.

Valentine's Day!

Well, today was finally Valentine's Day. I could feel a sense of expectation as I waited for Rinko in the school hallway...

When who should appear but.........Nene????

It seems that poor Nene wanted to give me chocolate to thank me for my hard work at Dixies over the past year. It has been my part-time job, after all.

Of course, it would have been rude not to accept - so what could I do? Nene shook my hand at the end to make sure I understood.

But guess what? Just like last year's jealousy event with Manaka, Rinko had been watching the whole time.

Of course, she chewed me out for accepting chocolates from another girl!

But things went downhill from there. Rinko just couldn't get over it, and walked away.

When I tried to call Rinko, her phone was switched off. And when I met her later in the day near the stairwell, she refused to speak to me.

In the afternoon, Nene came up to me a second time. It seems that she'd heard about the confusion with Rinko, and offered to speak to my girlfriend and explain things.

How sweet! You know, I actually like Nene a little bit more now. She's never seemed like my kind of girl, but she does have a really nice side. I might even be tempted to date her sometime...

Late in the afternoon, I met Rinko on the school roof and we patched things up.

Rinko even gave me a beautiful box of chocolate for my (belated) Valentine's Day gift.

Well, these jealousy events are kinda fun. But I do hope that, some time, I can enjoy a happy Valentine's Day with Rinko, without all the misunderstanding.

Thursday

 Today was another super-busy day, where my times to play LovePlus were limited. Nevertheless, I did my best! This included having breakfast made (especially for me) by Rinko...

Meeting her in between classes for a chat...

And going to the locker room to find her waiting for me at the end of the day (even though I was way, WAY late)...

Rinko really is the perfect girlfriend. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I can't wait to say "thank you" in the game. I've bought a nice pair of earrings for her. I wonder what my gift will be?

Wednesday

Not long to go now until Vanetine's Day! Last year there was a jealousy event, where Rinko saw Manaka giving me chocolate and got mad at me for the whole day! I'm kinda interested to see if it happens again, or if this year will be something different. I hope it's a more pleasant experience, as it will be my last special day in the current version of the game.

Anyway, today started off as per usual, with Rin making breakfast for me:

And then, after a few kisses, we walked to school together.

And of course, at lunch, there was a yummy bento again.

Tuesday Again

There was no school today (technically) because it was a holiday of some kind, so I was able to meet Rinko at other places around Towano - which is unusual for a weekday. I took advantage of the situation and met her at the Temple this morning:

Even though school was closed, we still had to don our uniforms and rock up for Library Committee duty in the afternoon. The scrunchies were back, only green this time...

And in the evening, Rinko and I rode our bikes to Ten Feather Station to visit the Second Hand Clothing Store.

There are two exciting things coming up soon. Firstly, Friday is Valentine's Day, which also marked the two-year anniversary of the launch of the star-crossed "New LovePlus". I don't have a gift for Rinko yet, so I'd better visit the Shopping Mall tomorrow, before it's too late! Secondly, I've booked a date for Sunday at 9:00am. Dates with Rinko are always fun.
