Mountain Date

Well, this week marks my six month anniversary in the current game with Rinko. With the released of  New LovePlus+ imminent (less than 2 weeks away), my time with Rinko in the 3DS game is probably drawing to a close...so I plan to enjoy the remaining days as much as possible.

And today's date was very pleasant indeed. I decided to take Rinko to the Mountain area, because she always loves it there. And when I met her this morning at the station, she looked just absolutely perfect. It's taken this long, but my plan for making Rinko-chan dress smartly for our dates has certainly paid off. I loved her pale blue jacket, black scarf and white hat:

But even more, I adored the classic, navy blue dress with white Peter Pan collar that she wore underneath! Now this is my kind of girl...

Yep, Rinko looked sweet and old-fashioned. I love it. Combine this outfit with the twin-tails hairdo, and...well, it's going to be very hard to say goodbye in a few weeks. Maybe Rinko knows, too, and she's doing everything she can to make me transfer my data from the current game rather than starting over.

The main part of our date was at Towano Hot Springs. I grabbed this nice sepia-coloured shot of Rinko in the outer section of the Hot Springs area:

And this is the inside section, which looks very different now that it's Spring.

With the option of a second date location, I chose to stay in our beloved Mountain Area and take a hike on the Amou Mountain trail. And Rinko looked gorgeous in the dappled sunlight.

Then, sadly, it was time to take her home. The date didn't extend, because I'd already burned up most of my hearts on that Premium Date mid-week. But no matter. It was a most enjoyable day.

Mountain Date!

Today was another splendid winter date in the Mountain Area. Rinko was still wearing her twin-tails hairstyle when I met her at the station this morning. She was warmly dressed in a suede coat.

We stopped into Aisha Dining for a snack. (At the end of today's date, I found that I'd achieved the trophy as an Aisha Dining "regular".)

And I also saw that Rin-chan was wearing this very cute outfit under her coat.

And Rinko also asked if she could change my nickname to "Honey". Of course, I was very happy about this. I like it when she calls me "Darling" or "Honey" the best - mainly because of how cute they both sound when Sakura Tange says them!

Rinko must really love the shaved ice (kaki-gori), because she seems to order it the whole year round, in just about every flavour and colour imaginable. Cold weather doesn't discourage her at all!

Then we walked together through the farm land to our main date in at Amou Mountain.

It's still ski season, and Rinko once again changed into her super-cute ski outfit. I can't help kissing her when she wears this, because it's just so adorable in an 80s kinda way...

Snack time took us back to the wonderful Viking Cake Buffet, where Rinko ordered this cute sponge cake, topped with a yummy strawberry...

Then it was time to say goodbye, and our date was over too soon. I really hope that the new game (New LovePlus+) retains all the great features of dating that were introduced in New LovePlus.

I had Library Committee duty in the afternoon...

...and of course I managed a quick kiss with Rinko in between my official duties.

In the afternoon of what turned out to be a busy and happy day, we rode our bikes over to the Musical Instrument Store at Ten Feather Station.

And then, our last meeting was in the Convenience Store at night, where Rinko topped off her twin-tails with these cute orange scrunchies.

Snowy Wonderland

After a short day yesterday, I'm happy to say that today's date was exciting and wonderful. When I met Rinko at the station this morning, she was sporting a new, cute semi-long hairstyle - which, interestingly enough, is exactly the same hairstyle she wears in my current DS game! She wore a smart, white coat and red gloves.

And underneath the jacket, Rinko wore a mustard-colored knit top. Okay, I know I spent a lot of time in the past lamenting Rinko's taste in clothes, and her habit of putting odd things together when we went on dates - but that's all in the past now. Rinko at the moment has fabulous taste.

I think the fault was mainly mine. You see, when I played the 3DS game the first time, I thought that being nice to my girlfriend meant saying that I liked every clothing style and hairstyle she turned up with, because I didn't want to hurt her feelings. That was a bad mistake! This time around I've been very strict with Rinko, not letting her wear casual clothes for dates at all, and telling her honestly if I don't like clothes, accessories or hairstyles. And it's working out great.

We went to Aisha Dining for a meal first off. This is Rinko's favourite place to go in Shin Towano - she complains if I take her to Dixies or the Coffee Shop (though she always ends up liking the food, anyway).

When we got to Amou Mountain for the main part of our date, the whole slopes were covered with a thick blanket of snow. There's a chairlift now, and people skiing in the background, too! It was cold up there, but the sky was crisp and wintry blue.

Then, to my surprise, Rin-Rin changed into her ski outfit! It was two-tone green and looked really cool. When I played New LovePlus the first time, I didn't even know about all these exciting places and options. Sometimes I'm kinda sorry that I deleted that game, with the fifteen months of gameplay - but mostly I'm not. I understand the game so much better now, and I'm more aware of its possibilities.

One of the nicest parts of dating in the Mountain Area is going to the beautiful Lakeside Restaurant. We just stopped in there for a quick cup of tea, but Rinko looked really beautiful as she sat at the table opposite me.

When the date was over, we headed back to my place, listened to a funky CD, and played TwinBee. No high score, unfortunately. But there WAS kissing involved...

And then it was time to say goodbye. As well as Rinko's full-length coat, I also managed to catch a few stray snowflakes in the next shot.

All in all, it was a cool (hehe) winter date. At lunchtime I was supposed to go to the Flea Markets to pick up a Premium Date ticket...but it was snowing too much and the markets were cancelled. Damn. Now I have to wait another whole week to get that ticket, because it's only available in Sunday - and only in Real Time mode.

I met Rinko at the Convenience Store in the early evening for a final short date.

But I'm pretty tired in real life, and in the game, after not sleeping more than a couple of hours last night, so I'm planning to hit bed early tonight. The end-of-year tests start tomorrow, so I'd better be fresh and prepared (i.e. bring my New LovePlus Guide Book to work with me). I promised Rinko that I'd be the Number 1 student again, after all!

Saturday's Study Date

Rink met me this morning for the usual walk to school, and the day looked promising - nice blue sky.

I grabbed a shot of her waving goodbye on her way to class. You can see in this photo (if you look closely) the blue ring I gave Rinko a few weeks ago. She's worn it almost every day, so I guess she really likes it. The blue ring I gave her for our one month anniversary (which was much more expensive), however, I've never seen her wear. Hm.

In the afternoon, I'd planned to go to the Shopping Mall to get a present for tomorrow's date...but Rinko cornered me and demanded another study date. When this happens (just before the exams), whatever session you've booked gets cancelled in favour of study.

Thanks to my Guide Book, I passed the first three questions and had a sweet treat for a reward...

When I passed the second set of questions, Rinko rewarded me with a change of outfit - but she chose the cheerleader outfit again. Maybe because it made me so crazy last time??? I would have preferred to see her wear something different, though...

And the next four shots are from the Intimate Photo Session, after passing the third lot of study questions. I'm getting much better at using the camera during these sessions, and I'm now able to get a full 360 degree view of Rinko's bedroom. I've never noticed this weird poster on her wall...

And the final three shots are interesting, just because it's rare to have the chance to shoot Rinko from the side or back without her turning around towards the camera.

And that looks like a pretty decent hi-fi system in the background, too...

And you can't tell by looking at the next couple of shots, but it snowed tonight in Towano for the first time! I find that snow in New LovePlus creates a very romantic mood. Rinko seems pretty out of it in the first shot, though...

We stopped into good old Dixies for a snack and some conversation. It's weird that no matter how many times I take Rinko to Dixies, Nene is never around. It would be interesting sometimes if the other two girls showed up in particular situations (but it could also be awkward, I guess).

I'm looking forward to my date with Rinko at Amou Mountain tomorrow. I'm hoping there will be snow - lots of snow!
