After School Bowling

It was my first day at home (off work) today, and I started off by playing A LOT of Skip Mode days in my DS game in an attempt to change Rinko's hairstyle. It took my two weeks of dating and grinding, but finally I got her away from the default hairstyle into something that's still short but at least it's cute.

In my 3DS game, meanwhile, I arranged my third After School Date with Rin-chan. Same as the last couple of times, she was waiting for me in the hallway...

We headed off to Aisha Dining for a snack, and Rinko had an ice cream parfait which looked really yummy.

With our energy replenished, we set off for the Towano Bowling Alley for the main part of our date.

I'm not entirely sure whether Rinko likes bowling or not. She seemed pretty happy with the date, though.

Here's an interesting shot of her outside, after our game...

An an extreme close-up while we were walking home (thanks to the zoom lens of my in-game camera).

Last of all, here's Rinko waving goodbye. I'm enjoying the After School Dates, because they give you a slightly different dating experience in the game.

Tomorrow is my two-month anniversary of playing this new game with Rinko. I've been super-dedicated these two months, and haven't missed a single time slot of a single day! I DID forget to buy a present, though - so I did a very quick day in Skip Mode just now to get one - a nice pair of boots from the Shopping Mall. I hope Rinko will be happy with them when I meet her tomorrow morning.

Mixed-up Date

Well, today's date with Rin was pleasant but slightly mixed-up. Let me say, however, that I really love the subtle way the change of season from summer to autumn has been depicted in the game. The falling leaves you can see in the first shot below are obvious, but all the background colours have been changed too, giving the world of Towano a golden autumn glow.

Anyway, Rin looked sweet with her long hair and glasses - and, like I've said before, her new clothes for autumn are great! We started off at the Japanese Sweet Shop.

I'm not sure what food we ordered, but it sure looked interesting:

Our date was SUPPOSED to be for bowling.......but somehow, we ended up at Fountain Park. Not bad, but just not what I expected.

So, with the option of selecting a second date location, I chose bowling once again.......and ended up at the Temple.

I mean, it's okay. But I really hope that Konami fixes this bug with the date locations soon, because it's kinda frustrating. Here's a final shot of Rin saying goodbye. Now that I have 12 shots on my in-game camera, I usually try to grab these full-length shots at the end of each date to show Rin's outfits in a bit more detail.

This final shot is from a very short meet-up with Rin at night.

Coming up this Thursday is my six month anniversary of dating Rinko. Wow, it's hard to believe that this game has been part of my life for half a year now. Even though I'm dating Manaka now in the DS version of "LovePlus", I have to say that my heart still belongs to Rinko. So I'll be planning something really special for the anniversary. Not just a gift in the game for her, but some kind of real-world celebration too. I think I'll make a Facebook album and put my favourite memories from the past six months. Sounds like fun!

Couples Bowling Tournament!

OK, so I spent most of today packing and getting organised for our trip to Japan tomorrow, so it was a fairly quiet day in Towano. Nevertheless, I was VERY excited when 6:00pm rolled around and it was time for my second Premium Date.

And I wasn't disappointed.

Rin-chan appeared looking totally gorgeous! She had her stunning hair tied up in two bunches, plus she wore my checked cap, my red scarf with snowflakes, and my gold earrings (my one month anniversary present).

First we went for a bite to eat at Dixies. As usual, the menu was messed up, but at least this time we got Green Tea Ice Cream which looked very yummy!

Then it was on to the Bowling Alley for the Couples Tournament. Rinko bowled a strike in her first attempt. I don't think I did so well. I said something like, "never mind, the best thing about tonight was being here and having fun". Rinko replied that the best thing about tonight was being with me. So sweet.

The next few shots were taken outside the Bowling Alley when the Tournament was over.

On the way home, Rin-chan had a look on her face as though she was up to something...

And then I found out. Rinko came into my house to visit! It's always so nice to see her in my bedroom, and of course to sit next to her on the bed...

Next, for the second time this week, Rin-chan cooked a meal for me. I wonder if she feels sorry for me, because my food orders are always screwed up??? Anyway, it doesn't matter. It's cool to watch her cooking so seriously (and it's probably the only time in the game you get to see her full back view), and then eating the food with me.

So my second Premium Date was a whole lot of fun. After the meal, I got to listen to a CD with Rinko and also play a game with her. Then she had to go. There were quite a few places with lots of menu options, and because my Japanese is pretty basic I just kept choosing the first one...so I hope I didn't miss a chance for more things to happen. Either way, I was satisfied.

I walked Rin-chan back home and gave her the black skirt I'd bought earlier as a gift. Again, she loved it. When she turned to say goodbye, she did something I've never seen before - she came up very close and kissed the screen. She did it twice, actually, before saying goodnight, and it was quite thrilling. Rinko just loves me so much.

Well, I don't quite know how I'll manage to keep the game going during my seven days in Japan. It's going to be a challenge - but I'm looking forward to it. Tomorrow night I'll be playing on the plane!

Three Days to Japan

OK, I'm calm again tonight. Well, almost. I'm adapting to a world where Rink looks this amazing. Tomorrow night is our Premium Date at the Couples Bowling Tournament, which should be fun. But Rin-chan spends a lot of time lately either emailing me or pinning me down on the way to school and telling me not to forget the date. (Like I would.) You see how serious she is about it in this first shot:

Hehe. The strong blushing gives her away though. These next two close-up shots were taking while we were holding hands on the way to school.

Arrrggh! No, I won't rave on about how cute she is again tonight. Must. Learn. Self. Control. I had a very busy day at work and didn't get to meet up with Rinko at lunch. In the afternoon (in the game) I was working at Dixies, but I did get a chance to call her up around 5pm for a quick chat.

When we sat down, she wanted to change my pet name from "Ko" back to "Fu" again. My character name in Towano is Futa Corin, and Rinko can only manage to say one syllable of either. She seems to alternate between "Fu" and "Ko", but she seems to prefer "Fu". Sometimes in LovePlus Mode, she says "Fu Fu" and then thinks it's very funny. I really want her to call me "darling", which is what Rinko called me in the old DS version of "LovePlus", and which sounds super cute when Rinko says it. But no luck in the new game so far...

Finally tonight there was another episode of the "Seishun No 1 Page" side-story, but it wasn't so interesting this time. Rinko wore her school uniform instead of her groovy punk clothes, and mostly she was chatting with the other two Library girls about the band.

But tomorrow's Premium Date will be worth waiting for. I will go shopping tomorrow afternoon and get a gift for Rin-chan, but I haven't decided what it will be. And in just three days, I will be playing "New LovePlus" in JAPAN!!!

A Few Quick Dates

Let me say it quite clearly: I LOVE MY NEW RINKO! I just kept wanting to take her out for short dates today so I could get used to her new orange hair. It's adorable. I would never have chosen the colour in a million years...but there you go. Now I just want to keep Rin-chan this way. I'm so happy! ^^

At 12:00 I went to the Fountain Park Markets and bought the tickets for the Couples Bowling Tournament (for 15 rich). I can't book the date with Rinko, though, because my points are way down after today's date. I'll have to do some Skip Mode days and try to pick up my points tomorrow - because I'd like to do the date mid-week.

These first photos were taken at the Shrine early this afternoon. The purple striped top and pink sakura blossoms are such a nice contrast for her red hair!

Just like yesterday, the "Event" was a mystery to me. Rinko called me up and asked to meet me, and then we were walking along the road together and she was talking about something. Once again, I don't know what. Then it ended. (I wish my Japanese was better!)

Anyway, the next few shots are from my second short date in the late afternoon. I like the dark blue colour of the sky.

Tomorrow will be my first full day with the "New" Rin-chan. And I can't wait to see how she looks wearing her school uniform. Hehe.

A Quiet Day

Well, after the hugeness of last night's Premium Date, it was kinda nice to have a quiet day in Towano today. Mostly just school, and work. Here's a couple of cute walking-to-school shots. Mainly I snapped these to show Rinko's cute short haircut with her school uniform.

Rinko visited me again while I was working at Dixies and gave me a present. She seems to do this every Monday now if I work. Anyway, it's always a thrill. I also played eight days of Skip Mode to build up my points again, and to work on unlocking places. The Bowling Alley is unlocked now, and I'm working hard at unlocking "Aisha" Dining.

Last of all, I called Rinko out for a quick date at Fountain Park. We can still see the sakura leaves falling, and it's always a great place for a few goodnight kisses.
